Who I'am?

My name is Martin Matasci. I’m 19 years old, and I race go-karts out of passion. I'm currently competing in the Italian (MOS) Championship, as well as local races at the Locarno-Magadino track.

I grew up in Gordola, Switzerland, and already as a kid I started with sim racing, competing online against drivers from all over the world. Even back then, I always dreamed of being on real tracks pushing my limits and fighting for wins.

I entered competitive karting about a year ago, and since then I’ve taken part in some official races across Italy and Switzerland. One of my best results so far was finishing 2nd out of 22 drivers at the Italian MOS Championship a moment that showed me I’m on the right path, after gaining experience in previous races.

Now I’m focused on completing the full Italian MOS Championship season and aiming for the top step of the podium. This website is where I keep track of my progress, share my goals, and connect with people who believe in young talent and motorsport. It’s also a space for sponsors who want to support my career.

If you're interested in supporting my journey or learning more about my project, feel free to reach out. Every step forward counts.

After an intense Saturday afternoon of racing at the Ottobiano track, I managed to secure P2 in class and P3 overall. That’s a very important result, putting me on the right path to compete for the driver's championship title.

Team Gkart

After just one month of going to the track, I competed in the June race organized by Magadino Kart, where I managed to finish P4. It was a great result, probably thanks to the years I spent sim racing, which really paid off.
After that, I took part in another race organized by Magadino Kart, the one in October, held in the rain. It was my first time racing in wet conditions, and I finished P5 out of 18.
The most recent race was in June 2025, where I managed to finish P6 out of 20, despite a crash with another driver that cost me a lot of lap time.

Why sponsor me?

Racing is my passion and my dream. To speak honestly, the biggest challenge is the cost of this sport. To fight for victory, I need someone who can support me during these races, while I give everything I have, both mentally and physically.

I’m the perfect example of a sim racer who made the jump from the virtual world to the real track. I spent so much time driving online that when I tried my go-kart for the first time, I was already matching the lap times of drivers who had been racing since they were kids.

In just one year, I’ve already managed to beat many of them and stand on the podium in a real championship. I’m super excited to see where I’ll be in 4 years or more, with just more experience under my belt.

To conclude, I just want to thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to read all this. If you decide do help me with my career, please feel free to contact me.

I’m currently in the running for the MOS Italian Championship title. With more experience and support, the top step of the podium is within reach.
